3.1 Discussion The need to trust the data in research is one of the most critical elements in the research process. Studies that are not valid or reliable are simply a waste of time, effort, and resources. Again, from our perspectives as MBA students and as business professionals, the validity and reliability of our research are of paramount importance. We are responsible for ensuring the integrity of our research data and the information generated. We use this information to make critical decisions that directly impact company revenue, profit, and success. In many cases, these decisions affect the overall well-being of our people, the internal and external stakeholders.
