This assignment asks you to locate a children’s, juvenile, or young adult multi-cultural text and create a one-class period multi-cultural lesson plan. This lesson plan must be engaging in experience and accurate in content and must include the following:

The learning goals, clearly written as a measurable learning target.

An assessment to measure student learning at the end of the lesson plan.
This is how you will know students learned.
An opportunity for students to share something about their own culture as they connect with the lesson plan.
Personally connect to the content of the lesson.
An instructional plan that leads the student through an engaging and fun multi-cultural lesson from start to finish of the lesson.
Agenda of activities you will do.
Lastly, all of the materials that you will use (worksheets, the book citation, etc.)
