Directions

The purpose of this assignment is to summarize the concepts of contemporary Early Childhood Education models and child care programs. (CO2)

There are many videos available on the Internet that depicts models of early childhood education. For this assignment, you are to:

1. Find a video clip for each of these models: Montessori, High Scope, Reggio Emilia and Head Start. YouTube is an excellent resource.
2. After you review each video, describe five characteristics you observed about how each program is conducted. Please include a working URL link AND a URL address for each video you review.
3. In addition, write a 500 word essay about which program you prefer and why.
