Students will discuss the neurological development, developmental psychopathology, and specific learning disorders (for example, dyslexia) based on Chapter 11 (Berger) and other sources. Students will address the impact of learning disorders and developmental psychopathology have on a child’s (and child’s family) functioning and behavior as well as address the strategies, or interventions needed to work with individuals with learning disorders or developmental psychopathology. The paper will be 2-4 pages and will follow APA style and format: title page, one-inch margins, 12 font, Times New Roman, double-space. Do not use quotations; instead, paraphrase and cite the source. Students will cite a minimum of three scholarly sources. Textbooks permitted for this assignment. Title and reference pages do not count towards page requirements
