SPSS PAIRED T-TESTS ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
One type of research question involves repeating measures on subjects before and after some sort
of intervention/treatment. Whether or not a parametric or nonparametric statistical test is
employed will depend on the results of data distribution analysis.
In some cases, public health research requires the analysis of counts and/or categorical data.
Research questions of this type generally employ some form of chi-square analysis.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using SPSS the student will perform the following procedures and learn how to interpret and
apply the output generated by the procedures:

ο· Wilcoxon test
ο· Chi Square and Risk Analysis
