The final project will assess your ability to apply the concepts presented in the course.   Select two business leaders – One who exhibits positive leadership traits and one who exhibits negative leadership traits.  These two individuals are the subjects of your analysis paper. Begin your paper with an introduction.  In your introduction, tell your reader about the two leaders that you have chosen.  Who are they? What are they the leaders of?  Explain which one has the positive leadership traits and the negative leadership traits.  End your introduction with a thesis statement that explains the connection (or lack of connection) between leadership traits and firm performance. Include the following in the body: 1.  Examples of leadership traits/actions – you must not only state what leadership traits the leaders have, but also back up your claims by supporting your statements with your research.  (How has the leader demonstrated the traits you say that he/she has?) 2.  The impact of leader’s traits/actions on the firm.  This can include items such as employee satisfaction/productivity/turnover, ethical behavior, ability to resolve conflict, ability to build teams, and firm performance. The conclusion should revisit the thesis statement and your conclusion about how positive and negative leadership traits are (or are not) connected to firm performance.
