Write an informative essay about one of the following options (choose one to research and write):

What’s the job you would eventually like to have?
What college or university would you like to attend?
What’s the trade that you’re interested in pursuing?

Note: An informational research paper should not be written in first person. These questions are just to get you thinking about a topic that interests you. The paper should be written in third person to inform the reader about the topic as a whole.

For this written assignment, you’re asked to write a research paper. Research can be fun, especially if you’re researching what you are interested in. You have three choices. You can research the college you want to go to. You can research the career you hope to be in. You can research the trade job you would like to be a part of.
The assignment asks you to complete a five- to seven-paragraph research paper. You will be required to have an introduction paragraph, at least three body paragraphs, and a conclusion. When you go to write your paper, make sure that it’s in third person. You should not be using words like “I,” “me,” or any type of opinion-based research.
You are going to need three resources to support all of the information you’re providing. Make sure that you’re looking for valid resources. Places like Wikipedia and Blogspot, those are not reliable resources. You want to find things like Popular Science or maybe Forbes magazine.
Be sure to include in-text citations in MLA format. You will also need a works cited page in MLA format. These are used to support the information you are providing to your reader.
