Answer the following questions based on the information provided in the readings and video. Below is a reminder of the definitions:
Primary source: a source, usually text based
though not always, from the period under study. Examples include but are not limited to diaries, letters, law codes, literature, etc.
Secondary source: written by people after the period or event studied and who generally use primary source to support their arguments or interpretation about the period. Examples include but are not limited to peer reviewed scholarly books and articles.
Tertiary source: examples include but are not limited to encyclopedias, textbooks, dictionaries. These sources may use primary source but generally have gathered their information from secondary sources. They are great for quick references but are generally not used as support for scholarly arguments.
