Module 2 – Chapter 3 Index & Chapter/Tabular “Coding” Assignment
Underline the main term for each example. Indicate the path taken and the chapter/tabular code. Submit to the Module 2 “Coding” Assign found under Quizzes (this is not a quiz). You will be asked to provide the path and the code (submit your path in the first blank and the code in the second blank). Codes without paths or paths that don’t make sense will result in no points for the code. I will follow your path and determine if index path can be followed. If it can and you have an incorrect code, you will get partial points for the index path. Assignments with 5 or more questions without paths will result in zero for the assignment.
Once you have submitted your assignment – review the answers to see which answers you did not get correct. For incorrect codes – go back and follow the path to discover errors. Bring questions to class.
Example of Index Path:
· Main term>sub term>specific sub terms
· Main term>sub term>2nd qualifier>3rd qualifier, and 4thqualifier
· Do notinclude instruction phrases (ex. see) or non-essential modifiers.
· Do not include information that you went to the chapter and what you did within the chapter to find the code. I want just the Index path.
