Complete the ‘Analyzing a Customer Survey Case’ from page 129 of Evans.
For the first post, each member of the group will individually perform one of the analyses listed below (as possible, no more than 2-3 students running the same analysis ).
For the second post, reply to one of your team members with a constructive critique of how well their analysis captured the key ideas of the data.
Rubric: 60 points for completeness and clarity of first post. 30 points for the response post, including insight about the data presented by the team member. 10 points for grammar, timeliness, references and style.
Analyzing a customer survey.
A supplier of industrial equipment has conducted a survey of customers for one of its products in the principal marketing regions: North America, South America, Europe, and China. The data, which tabulate the responses on a scale from 1 to 5 on dimensions of quality, ease of use, price, and service, are in the file Customer Survey. Perform the following analyses:
a. Use point and interval estimates to analyze the data a write a paragraph to the VP Marketing.
b. Construct graphs (i.e. not a data table) in excel to convey the main messages of the data to the VP marketing.
c. Create a PivotTable in excel to communicate the main messages of the data to the VP Marketing.
d. Create a summary statistics table (look at McGahan and Victor Table 1) to communicate the messages of the survey to the VP Marketing.
