Law Case Review 4: Schaffer v Weast

Schaffer v Weast was a drawn-out case that began in 1998 and ended in 2005.  Be sure you look at the chronology of this case on wrightslaw.org.  It dealt with burden of proof.  If a parent says an IEP is inadequate or inappropriate, is it the school's responsibility to prove it is sufficient or is the parent responsible for proving that it is insufficient?
