Design a Robot
- Humans design robots to do jobs they can't do, or don't want to do. What job would you want your robot to do for you?
- What sensors does it need to do that lob? Does it need to be able to see? Hear? Taste? Smel?? Feel when something is touching it? Feel what it is touching? Describe what it needs:
- Actuators: What tools will your robot need to do its job? Hands to pick things up? A camera? A hammer? A drill? A spoon? A comb?
- Does your robot need to move around? How would it move? On wheels? On a track? Swim? Fly?
- What environment will your robot work in cold? hot? wet? dusty? What will it need so it can work in those conditions?
