For this assignment, you will create a 500-word minimum expository essay regarding the impact of AI on critical thinking.
Include a minimum of three academic sources throughout your essay. You are welcome to locate academic sources through the Purdue Global Library or through other online sources.
In your essay, address the following components:
- Begin with an introductory paragraph (containing your thesis statement) in which you address the connection between critical thinking skills and artificial intelligence (AI).
- In the body of the essay, address the following topics:
- What are two ways AI may be used to enhance your ability to engage in effective critical thinking and make better decisions in your life, both now and in the future?
- What are two ways that AI might be detrimental to human critical thinking skills?
- Think about the sources you have consulted for this assignment. Why is it important to select credible, academic sources to support your points?
- Evaluate the sources you have selected. Which source do you think is the strongest? Why? Which source do you think is the weakest? Why?
- How do you determine if a source is credible or not?
- Include APA formatting (in-text citations and references) for a minimum of three academic sources.
