Sociologists who study religion measure religiousity using three markers:

1. Ideological- the degree to which one's faith impacts one's daily life

2. Consequential – the degree to which faith impacts decision making 

3. Intellectual-  knowledge one has of their own faith

For this assignment, identify the faith you follow and describe the basic beliefs of the faith, as well as a brief history of your faith. This may require you to do a bit of research. Were you surprised at any of the beliefs or history of your faith? Even if you identify as agnostic or atheist, please describe where these philosophies originate and what is the general basis? All information about your faith and identity will only be seen by me.
