SO511 Research Seminar in Political Sociology The course provides students with a political sociology understanding of fundamental political phenomena and studies them in a social context. Students in the course will focus on lectures such as Michael Mann on the Decline and Rise of Neo-Liberalism and examine topical topics for part of the term. In this course students will study Andreas Wimmer on ethnic conflict and state formation and Theda Skocpol on the future of American politics.
