Assignment Task

Critically examine that organisation’s readiness to manage their business into the future based on one of the following themes.

1. The challenges posed by the climate crisis and the push to form sustainable actions as part of a business strategy. OR

2. The challenges posed by the next industrial revolution and the need to respond to changes in the environment as part of a business strategy.

In answering the question students must set out the strategic position of their selected company/organisation using strategy management tools and techniques. This should include but is not limited to their key value offering and their position in industry or service. They should go on to evaluate the challenges the company/organisation faces and offer an informed reflection on how well they can manage these challenges. There needs to be research presented on the theory of Strategic management to support this discussion. All analyses and arguments should be supported by up-to-date research.

Notes 

1. Your submission should be fully referenced, identifying all sources of information used. The Harvard Referencing Style should be applied. You will lose marks if you do not reference properly and/or depending on the severity, you may have to repeat this assignment.

2. You will be penalised for any late submission of your report i.e. after one day of the due date 3% will be deducted: after one week of the due date you will be deducted 10% – thereafter 5%
