Select an organization that operates in more than one country. This can be a MNE, having operation in multiple countries. Ensure that there is sufficient information available about the organization’s operations.

Step 3

Organize the Report Structure as indicated below and follow the word limit as a rough guide for each section. Make sure to address the following topics in your report:

1. Introduction (approx. 100 words)
   Description of business
2. SWOT Analysis of the business in focus – (this is an internal analysis of the organization in focus) (approx. 250 words)
   Strengths 
   Weaknesses
   Opportunities
   Threats
3. Brief analysis of the chosen NEW country (approx. 350 words)
   Political
   Economic
   Indigenous societal culture
   Technological
   Competition
4. Describe the Emic and Etic approaches that can be applied to international business management issues i.e supply chain, human resource, information technology, market entry, marketing or any other IB issue, related to the organisation’s operations in the NEW country. Justify your applications using different sources.  Also, present the challenges that the organization might face in the NEW country environment and how they facilitate them using effective Etic or Emic management practices.  (approx. 600 -700 words)
5. Present any ethical considerations of using etic management approaches in the new international business environment. (100 words)
6. Conclusion and recommendations (100 words)

Write the Report

• Ensure that the report is well-structured, coherent and includes relevant secondary research information to support your findings, analysis and recommendations. Use clear and concise language and maintain a formal tone throughout the report. Adhere to the word limit of 1,600 words.
