Excessive screen time has been associated with several negative health outcomes such as poor sleep and diet. Utilize research from the textbook and additional reading (Robidoux et al., 2019) to explore how screen time can impact a child’s development.
- Develop an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation to summarize the positive and negative consequences of screen time on a child’s development.
- Provide at least three strategies and recommendations for appropriate screen time for parents and clinicians.
Use APA formatting, limit verbiage on slides by utilizing bullet points and use your notes pages for expanded material for your narration, include in-text citations on notes pages and slides for graphics and information, make your presentation visually appealing.
