For this assessment, you will write a 4–6 page annotated bibliography where you identify peerreviewed publications that promote the use of one of the technologies presented below that enhance quality and safety standards in nursing.

• Real-time Location Systems: These systems track the location of equipment, patients, and staff in real-time within a healthcare facility. This can improve efficiency, reduce equipment theft or loss, and enhance patient safety.
• Remote Patient Monitoring: This involves the use of digital technologies to collect medical and other health data from individuals in one location and electronically transmit it to healthcare providers in a different location for assessment and recommendations.
• Tele-psychiatry: Tele-psychiatry allows for the provision of psychiatric evaluation, consultation, and treatment through video conferencing. It’s a valuable tool in areas with a shortage of mental health professionals.
