Disaster preparation also involves preparing for purposeful disasters such as a terrorist attack. have you heard of the statement, “You have to be lucky all the time. We only have to be lucky once.”? It was written by the Irish Republican Army after an attempt in 1984 to kill the Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher by planting a bomb in the hotel she was using in Brighton (Clutterbuck, 2008). This message should resonate strongly with all of us interested in guarding against terrorists. How do you think we can achieve this (if you think we can)?
